It was around 1977 - my husband and I and our children had just joined St. Francis church in Elmdon Heath after moving into the area.

I joined the choir and Chris's husband Mike was a member. That is when I found the connection to Brecon and the fact that Chris had been best friends with my cousin there.

All three of our children attended Greswolde Primary School and our youngest was in Chris's class which she loved.

Over the years until a few years ago, four couples including Chris and Mike and ourselves used to go for meals at each other's houses and out to restaurants. 

We saw the year 2000 in  at Chris and Mike's house. 

Wonderful friends, happy memories.   God bless Chris, hope you are with Joan, Gordon, Margaret and my husband Ken, laughing and well.
